The problem I found with 3rd party HWRs is that HWR
doesn't work in all the applications. Plus they
usually are "batch" recognized...meaning that you
write the note in digital ink, then when you're
finished, you tell the HWR to recognize the page...not
very intuitive. I haven't tried the WinCE lately, but
a coworker of mine says that he wishes his HP Jornada
was as good at HWR as my Newt...he says it's so bad,
that he uses the onscreen keyboard to do most of his
dataentry...as a result, he doesn't use it much...
I let him write on my Newt in Guest mode and it was
90% accurate...he was impressed.
