I think MDLP sounds fine... but it depends on the DSP you have. If you
have a deck like the JB-S940 with it's ATRAC3 DSP then MDLP4 sounds pretty
good. On the portable players stick to MDLP2 mode.
Regardless, choices are great. I just wish Apple had provided a choice for
Windows or even Linux users for the iPod.
