I find the following to be really useful:
MoreInfo (the MessagePad is imcomplete without it
IMHO)
DashBoard (too cool)
Avi's Backdrop
Notion (great for lists (like motorcycle accessories)
Quicken (if you need a spreadsheet)
MPG (I track all expenses on my motorcycle with it.)
YAZI (let's you play old Infocom games)
Mahjonng (if you like the game, you'll like this)
I have many more but these stand out.
