Re: [NTLK] Newton Message Pad

Ah yes, most Newton Talk subscribers do use Macs. Unfortunately the biggest
buyers of Newton were PC users. Perhaps the lousy desktop connectivity
caused the common buyers to avoid it once the word got out.

I know the software for it, for the most part, was built on Macs. It's just
that most folks who use handhelds seem to own/use PC's and could care less
if Apple existed. (Can you tell I'm not Apple's fan yet :) )

Don't get me wrong, for the most part I like the mail list. Like I said,
the developers tended to be Mac users and they're the best I've encountered.
They contribute some very valuable content to the mail list. They and not
Apple is why the MessagePad is such a nice product.

So if I or anyone else upset your feelings in telling you to cure you ADS
(attention deficit syndrome) and to please try to focus once in awhile (on
the Newton), I apologize. I really sympathize with new subscribers the last
week or so.

Mike R.
(Newton user since the 110 and disliker of Apple just about as long)
