Interesting... I have had a bit of a different take on this screen issue.
I had felt that myself and a few others had wondered if it was possible to
retain the current MP2X00 screen size and simply trim down the form factor
so as to be able to make the machine more portable.
I would agree that limiting the size of the screen may not help as it is
nice to be able to take full length notes when applicable. Also, I already
have trouble reading off of my uMP2000 due to glare and black-on-green
colors (I wonder if the white touchscreen/backlight might help this). If
the Newton screen stayed technologically as it is then I cannot imagine
that decreasing its overall size would help.
