"Analog" merely suggests that some value corresponds to another, i.e. the
voltage changes in correspondence to changes in air pressure. As there is
nothing truly continuous in nature, this is just as well. And this has
nothing to with information -- something informing someone about
something. The smallest unit of information is the answer to a yes/no
question -- one bit -- so information is digital by definition.
