I'm more or less satisfied with GEM.

Positives:
+ well packed
+ everything arrived
+ everything works
+ I think that "newt, modem, dongle, 32M flash, leather case" is a good
deal.
Negatives:
- unit was shipped 4d late (said "will ship tomorrow", then "shipped" 5d
later)
- bad smell from the unit (like old dirtied books, you know)
- had broken hinge and clip for the lid [I don't use the lid since I use a
leather case]
Neutral:
. the battery holds about a day's worth
