You should be able to use a regular Mac serial cable ... but you can't
use the similar looking ADB cable.
My son and I have both used our USB to Serial Palm adapters to connect
our Newtons to various iMacs and iBooks. I was using a Mac serial to PC
serial cable, to the PC serial to USB adapter.
