Dear Dave,

I used PaperBoy for quiet a while, but after I realized, that the newsreader had some bugs (sometimes in overview-mode it shows you that there are news in threads, but as you change to detail-mode, there are less news visible which also never show up).

Now I am using lnkSpot for about two months. I did not discover any bugs. I do not remember if PaperBoy could make use of MacInTalk (TextToSpeach), but lnkSpot defnitely can. Concerning your downloading-timeout problem: until today I did not ever have a download session, that took me up to 5 minutes.
