Yeah, I am a Mac user, and I use iTunes. And I would love to have an
iPod (my two main reasons are Syncing, as opposed to having to burn new
CDs when you want to add a few new songs, and skip-free playback). But I
have a Rio instead. Why? Because as Sushi mentioned, it is cheaper. A
LOT cheaper. And for many people, that is a big concern. You get your
money's worth, no doubt, but the iPod is EXTREMELY expensive. I guess
that for me, the question was, how many hundreds of dollars am I willing
to pay for syncing and skip-free playback? And the answer was, I was not
willing to pay the difference between a Rio and an iPod.
