It didn't seem to make a difference to me. I just used MP3builder the
other day. Note that first the Newt has to write the package somewhere,
then the package has to write its data to the soup, then delete itself.
Typically this is all happening on the default store. So you have to have
2x the size of the package available on the default store in order to
install it successfully.
