AFAIK, nobody is actively working on enabling PCMCIA USB or FireWire.
Someone did mention a little while ago that they were attempting to work on
a serial to USB converter of some sort, inside the Newton, but I haven't
heard from that person since a little while.
Compact Flash will only work with the upcoming ATA driver. Stock, your MP
can only use linear Flash RAM cards.
