The reason for that stupid behavior wasn't heap, but the fact that the
Newton
saves the whole note whenever you add, remove or insert a new character.
The more characters there are, the longer it takes.
I would pay money for an application that somehow gets around that
annoying behavior and gives me a plain old save button instead.
