This won't achieve anything. The printed recognizer is a different engine to
the cursive one. The cursive specific settings have no effect on the printed
engine. Try it yourself: -
Switch to cursive and tell the Newton that you NEVER write the letter A
starting from bottom left going up and then down to bottom right followed by
the cross (the first capital A option it gives you). Then, still using the
cursive engine try to write a capital A like that. It'll never come out.
Okay, then switch to the printed engine and write a capital A the way you
told the Newton you "Never" do it and it'll quite happily accept it. For
extra proof go back to the cursive engine and tell it you "often" write your
letter A that way and then try again and it'll work (might take a few goes
while it "learns" that you have started writing that way again.
