It's not all that amazing once you realize that you don't make a sports car
by slapping an enormous V8 into a cast-iron chassis.

Try the good old Porsche 930 (911 Turbo, 3.0l 6-cylinder boxer) on for size,
and see if it's exciting to drive. Don't forget to ask for one of the early
models, that oughta teach you what that infamous "lag" in a turbo engine
is...

Or even better... Try a Formula 1 car on for size. 2.0l maximum V10, top
speed around the 325 km/h mark...
