{How's that subject line for steering things "on topic"? :-) }
I totally agree about their half-assed threading scheme. The other problem
is shows up on some other lists. The Duo/2400 list prepends all subject
lines with [Duo2400], i.e., the 'Re:' in the replies is AFTER the list
label. This means that the initial message of a thread is always separated
from all the replies when threading is turned on. Worse, by far, is the
Mathematica list (MathGroup). There, each message is prepended by a
SEQUENTIAL designator "[mg#####]", where the ##### is the five digit
sequential number. This, of course, defies any scheme of threading. And
then there are the times when some replies are denoted by "RE:", or "Re:",
or "re:". These all create separate threads.
The reason for this long-winded complaint is that I was wondering if anyone
had ideas for some AppleScript to handle this. OR, if anyone knows of a
mail reader that would handle some/all of the above threading challenges.
