[NTLK] Newton Press and importing pict files

Every time I try to import a grayscale .pict file into Newton Press 1.1, I
get a Type 1 error and the program quits. I am generating these files from
PhotoShop 5. I also tried using GraphicsConverter with the same results.
BMP files seem to work.

Thoughts?
