Seeing as people are talking about adapting LiON batteries for Newton use, I
thought I should warn you that these batteries aren't as nice and safe as NiCd
or NiMH batteries. Remember the Dell laptop recall? The problem wasn't with
the batteries cells--it was with the circuits that protect them from
overcharging and shorting.
So before you even think about letting your Newt charge those suckers, make
sure you look up just how to properly charge them...
