Only two things:
2000 mA is already scary - you can deep toast your Newt while loading
batteries.
Make ABSOLUTELY sure that you NEVER EVER CAN select 9V or 12V!!! There are
special plastic blocking pieces available to fix the switch in the position
needed.
I applied 12V once (limited to 1000 mA) and the Newt died completely within
a second. So this is the experience from a "burned kid".
