[NTLK] remote access

I asked this the other night but only got one reply so I'll try again.

Is it possible to synch the Newton by using a modem to modem connection.

i.e. I have NCU running on my desktop Mac, on my Newton, Dock uses modem
as its connection preference and rings my desktop Mac, they start
talking to each and synch.

I can get the Newton to ring the Mac but can't get my Mac and NCU to
answer the call and start talking to each other. Does anyone have any
ideas.
