The memory upgrade brings an MP2000 upto an MP2100.
Apple never offered an "implant" upgrade. The Newt was
always only 167Mhz.
A few of us on the list have made personal mods to the
Newt by boosting the speed with standard crystal
replacements. My Newt web server has a fixed speed of
219 and my personal Newt is switchable between normal
and 219.
