Well... if these folks really believe that we're held together by Newton
resurrection rumors, then they're just the typical ivory tower academics
whose common sense is overruled by their need to impress other academics
with their deep analysis of social phenomena that don't really exist.

OTOH, this was Wierd (oops, I mean Wired ;-) ) and my default position is to
assume that a journalist has completely mangled a technical or academic
topic, until proved otherwise.
