    Sure it's quicker. But if you want the stuff on the Newton it's faster
to get it direct.

    I carry the Newt and the phone. With the Newt I have a record of sent
mail as well.

    Newton + phone = about 3 pounds. I can take that hiking no problem. I'm
not about to start lugging a powerbook around in the woods.
