Yup Johannes, they do. System patches occupy a region of 4k pages at the top of system RAM. So the larger the patches g=
ot, the more pages had to be allocated for them. It's really not a big deal though - please, don't anyone get too uptigh=
t about 36K of memory.

BTW Johannes, you're missing the latest syspatch for your 2100-D. See here:

So it seems that the actual system ROM version and the installed patches
play a certain role in determining the amount of RAM available.
My factory 2100 (german NOS) shows in Extras / Info / Memory Info:

ROM-version D-2.1 (747129)-0
4020k installed system RAM

I will have a look this evening what my US MP 2000 will show, but it will be
definitely less.
