A very good point. If you were to write an emulator and release it, or
if someone were to somehow produce new hardware at a decent price, I
certainly wouldn't complain! In the end the decision rests with the
developer. I suppose that someone could start selling steel styli and
gauss rifle stylus tunnels completely out of the blue and there wouldn't
be anything we could do about it!

I'm sure that in time the right solution will present itself. (Hmm...
New NOS ROM boards that make better use of the existing hardware? No
wait, let's stop!)
