There is already a daemon that runs when you listen on TCP/IP, but it
requires the "parent app" in order to run. This is because some
plug-ins require a user context (in other words, you must be logged
in). This is especially true for running AppleScripts.
You should, however, be able to enter a hostname instead of an IP
address.
