There's a few utils that help to make scrolling through long notes easier:

NoteScroller:

And a similar thing called Scroller:

Don't know of something that saves your position in a Note, though.

Subject: [NTLK] Add-on to Notes?

I am writing some rather long Notes in my Newton. I would like to be able to
open a Note and go to where I left off when I last closed the Note, rather
than always starting at the top of the note and then having to scroll down a
lot. Is there an extension to Notes or a Notepad replacement that offers
this kind of function?
