I gave the new version a try. the occasional dropouts I used to
experience are gone. It's also good to see that the unbinding errors have
finally stopped, at least when disconnecting from a server without a
valid stream.

However, when I tried to stop a currently playing stream or server-based
file, I got a -48809 error and the stream or file kept playing, even with
Mad Newton closed. BugTrap reports can be found here:
