Now, don't get all uptight about that now :)
George Henne is a really fair guy - he doesn't have to support the Newton
anymore, as I'm sure sales of NSBasic/Palm and Wince are pretty good. But
he still does, and even still provides support for it, and even keeps the
web pages updated and fresh with the rest of his site. There's tons of
info about NSBasic/Newton on the NSBasic site - did you see it?

It's the closest thing to a full IDE in your hand (along with NewtDevEnv).

Subject: Re: [NTLK] seeking NS basic
Thanks for the clarification on the demo version of NS Basic. I was all
set to purchase the floppy disk version from Amazon (used/new) but then
saw the post indicating that the CD version is what will work on NS2.0+.
I also e-mailed the guy from NS Basic and his policy seemed to be "pay
$99 now, and if you don't like it I will refund your money". Sorry, but
I really do like to try before I buy - especially when spending that
much money on a program. Hopefully he will see the wisdom of allowing
the demo on the UNNA archives.
