Last communication I had with Marco was regarding a Tactile software
purchase...that was back in the middle of August. I seem to remember that he
was looking for register some more software when all traffic ceased - our
transaction as well as his frequent posts to the list.

I believe he was using a friend's email address (below) because he had
either moved or had his system go down...don't recall exactly. Or maybe he
truly was sick of the crap at Mac.com?

I also seem to recall that this was not the only "alias" he was using. He
may have been using several "friends" accounts to maintain his NewtonTalk
fix. Could be that once Mac.com went to a fee-based service (from free), he
didn't have this resource available anymore - since this is about the time
we finally lost track of him.

Anyway, he was one of the great contributors to the list. It would be nice
to have him back. I'm cc:ing here too, hoping that with a little prompting
he would come back to the fold....

That would be Marco Mailand's page (what happened to Marco anyway?) but Daniel Padilla has the info as well: http://dev.newtontalk.net/~dpadilla/battery.htm
