Hi,

Jaggies: when the touchscreen gets old (some of the time) it doesn't
report the position of the pen correctly, so instead of getting a
smooth curve when you write, you'll get a jagged scribble appears
instead. As you might expect, even the Newt finds it hard to interpret
such a scrawl..

The easiest way to try to fix this problem is to run the edge of a
business card under the case to try to clean the touch-screen contacts
(which actually is just one contact, it's four printed circuit lines
running around the outside of the screen. You can also remove the
touchscreen and clean it with water, but this requires disassembling
the Newt all the way to the bottom. Finally, Calvin Grier sells a
touch-screen replacement - where is the web page now?

Jim
