But these "journalists" do the same for ALL companies.
I know for a fact that I've sent out press releases to
trade publications that had "future looking
statements" in them that the "journalists" all
published verbatim as an article for their weekly rag.
(one even included a purposeful misspelling because I
had a bet with my boss)
It all boils down to what do 98% of the people want to
hear/read? Some new whiz-bang sci-fi technology that
Apple is developing (remember the firewire, IEEE 1394
confusion?) or how Microsoft is going to begin
tracking DVDs that you watch using Microsoft's media
player?
