Hi Donald,
After reading about Aviatrix on this board, I decided that I would give
it a try. Based on the read file, it looks like Aviatrix has some great
features -- especially for version 2.
Before trying version 1, I wanted to see if I could get version 2.
So I sent a message to info_at_airspace.com inquiring about version 2.
I will let you know if I hear anything.
The device that I most used when flying was my HP-41 programable
calculator. Things like WB, military fuel check, armament loading, were
programmed in.
I've used the Newt for flight planning. I used Quickfigure Works/Pro to
load IFR flight planning information. I also used Convert It for
changing various measurements. Definitely a limited solution. If
Aviatrix does all that it is touted to do, then it should prove to be a
good application.
