Good point. I received the messages with the umlauts, etc. and they looked
just fine. Therefore the problem can't lie with the server.
Anyone out there that can read the "raw" message for one of those where the
quoted printable appears instead of the intended characters? I'm guessing
that the M$ mailers are seeing the special characters and determining the
need to send it as quoted printable, but not properly flagging it so that
the readers at the other end can undo the translation.
