Okay I seem to have the same problems as Robert:

"....I seem to be out of luck, both internal and on a card I get one of the
infamous:
'An error occurred activating the package 'Lucent WaveLAN'. It may not work
with this system. Contact the software publisher for further information.
(Part 0, Type auto)'

Robert Benschop....."

Well I got the same message. I removed all my other ethernet drivers. I
tried it anyway using my wireless router (ugate 3300) which is 100%
compatible with my tibook running a true airport card. The ugate even
includes appletalk support wan-->lan and vise versa

I currenty run statis ip for my network behind the router and I have then
newton setup as such. The router is set to channel 4 (is this correct okay
for the driver?)

When I try net hopper it loads the driver and actually I get green on the
card (like it's powered) but then It sits and sits and I get nothing. This
includes just typing 192.168.0.2 in the browser (which is a basic text html
server behind my router).

What options do I have left? Anyone still working on this driver?

Thanks for the help. I've been a lurker on this list for a while.
