From PD 4.0 I exported an individual Palm Desktop file for each of
conduits, then in 2.0 I imported each one of the conduits individually
as Palm Desktop file. Then I exported each one individually again and
then used NCU to import them into the Newton. I did all this between X
and Classic using a Keyspan Serial Adapter on a 2100 and a Tibook. Does
this help or do you want more detail? I can go about recreating the
process and post it point by point, and with the correct terminology on
the menus if you want...

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we're drunk, we sleep.
When we sleep, we don't sin.
When we don't sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's drink to go to heaven!!
