I'm evaluating creating a modern serial connection kit for both mac OS
X/9.x and Windows. How many here would be interested? It seem like we
are fairly limited in this category as time goes on. Is there anything
out there that is actually still maintained and updated serial or
otherwise?
Unless I find a decent plug and play solution, I'm going to get started.
BTW, I have done this kind of thing before (communication reverse
engineering), but would rather not reinvent the wheel. Anyone know where
I can find good documents on Newton serial protocols? I'm currently
dissecting Newtalk as a baseline.
