Same Problem with my Newt and with the one before. I adjust the
contrast and after that -- on releasing the stylus -- the contrast
switches back to quite bright. On tapping somewhere on the screen
(some inactive spots in the extra-drawer for example) helps most of
the times...sometimes I need two or three taps. SInce it happend on
at least my last two Newton 2x00 (all in all there where three of
them) I guess its a normal behavior...anyboday know something for
sure???
...oh and btw: I never installed the auto-contrast-thingy mentioned
before... ;*)
