I do the same as well -- always do a complete backup.
I've had too much bad luck with incremental backups over the years on
DOS, Windows, Mac and Newts.
Once I've completed a backup, I then move the files to a folder with the
date and time of backup as it's title. Very easy to track your backups
that way.
Also, before installing any new software, I do a complete backup before
doing so. This has saved my b__t on numerous occasions!
