UnixNPI does MNP compression over serial. If you replace serial by a
TCP/IP stream, you will have MNP compression over TCP/IP which the
Newton won't recognize.
The only way is adding TCP support to UnixNPI (preferrably using BSD
sockets, so it will compatible with other Unices).
