I keep both Nethopper and NewtsCape on my 2100 and use both depending on
what I'm doing.

NewtsCape has many more features/capabilities than Nethopper, but it's also
slower and in several ways behaves differently from a traditional desktop
web browser.

It sounds as if you might not have NIE set up properly if Nethopper really
sits for 3+ minutes and never downloads anything. I'd try making sure you
have basic connectivity first.

Definitely do look into NewtsCape. It's a great program, but you might have
to put your expectations of how a web browser works on the shelf first.
