I don't know. If it starts telling you, "you better be nice to me..." then
it is time to start _really_ worrying... (visions of "Talking Tina" running

Acha! After writing the above, I read further in my NewtonTalk folder, and
saw the thread on Tactile software, and went to their site, and downloaded
and installed their "Reminder" app. After a few minutes, my Newton turned
on, and displayed a dialog box saying, "Good morning, I hope you slept well,
Master." !!! I noticed that there is an option in the prefs to have the
Newton use speech, so this is apparently where your Newton got possessed!
