If anyone saw a copy of Time Canada for this week, it looks like Apple
is releasing a flat-screen iMac. Cool looks, DVD burner, etc. but just
an iMac.
Quittner calls it "dazzling, never-seen-anything-like-it"
"built around a flat-panel display [that] floats in the air, attached to
a jointed, chrome-pipe neck [...] rimmed by a [...] translucent plastic
frame"
"The chrome neck is articulated and bends while maintaining the angle of
the screen"
"the computer [is] an improbably small hemisphere at 26.4 cm in
diameter-somewhat bigger than a halved cantaloupe"
G4 Processor
"Pixar creative chief John Lasseter has also made the first new iMac
ad."
Prices start at $1,299
Top-end $1,800 version includes DVD SuperDrive
Also the release of "iPhoto"...
