just downloaded and installed iPhoto.

Be-au-ti-ful !!!

However, the Edit stage doesn't allow contrast or brightness
adjustments, that's a bummer :-(

It's got a black and white (well actually that is a misnomer and should
be greyscale) feature though, which would be great for export to Newton,
but unfortunately the Newton isn't on the export format list.

Not surprising: The Newton (or any derivative thereof) isn't considered
part of the digital hub :-(
