Just as a defense:
I consider the mouse a "removable device" so I don't count it as
required. For example, when I have friends over for dinner, I'll clear
the desk of everything but my iMac and its keyboard after putting iTunes
into FullScreen mode. At that point, I've currently got 3 available USB
ports. If I were to unplug the keyboard, I'd only have 2... plus I
wouldn't be able to pause/skip/volume/etc.
Same thing when I'm gaming. I'll sometimes pull the mouse off and plug in
my gamepad to play some Mario Bros. on RockNES. :-)
No USB hub for me... I'm too stingy! Instead, I unplug the printer to use
the scanner, and unplug the iSub to use the webcam.
That being said, I love Aggie jokes. Did you hear about the aggie that
got locked out of his car? He spent two hours trying to get his wife and
kids out!
;-)

(Has anyone else noticed bad things when you've got an iSub plugged in and
try using InputSprocket devices under 9.2?)
