Two reasons why a camera on a cell phone makes sense.
Bear in mind that most of these reasons require a high definition camera!
A) Copy/Fax documents. The back of the camera has a circular bubble
level. You aim the camera down at a document. The level helps keep
all pieces of the document in focus. Of course, the camera has
auto-focus (and, no, you do NOT need a mechanical system to do so!
Nor fancy electronic blur removing).
B) "Vacation Photos." Either storage in a flash card, or phone home.
Color, of course. This feature helps justify the high definition
camera.
I can't using a camera as a video phone... If existing phones are a
distraction to drivers, can you imagine how distracting a video phone
would be?!
