assuming your Mac OS < X, and you've rebuilt desktop (if nec), drag&drop via
PackType should work. if not, other solutions should be discussed in the
FAQ. (you could always use ResEdit to change type/creator to "pkg " and
"pkgX" -- check a 'good' pkg first to verify).
