It always seemed odd that the Newton did not have a drop-down list for
selecting States in the Names app. A zip-code database in and of itself
would be a good thing. Hooking it up to Names would be a real time-saver.
The reason I am chiming in on this is that I was thinking about another
Names enhancement. Wouldn't it be great if all of that Newton Intelligence
(tm) could be applied to the email address. It is almost impossible for me
to get the handwriting recognition to work accurately on an email address.
What I would love is an add-in that would pop up a list of possible email
addresses for a person, and let me choose the right one, or an approximation
to it. For example, if I am adding John Doe, who works at Acme Corporation,
I would like to get a popup:

john.doe_at_acme.com
john_doe_at_acme.com
john_at_acme.com
doe_at_acme.com
and maybe
johndoe_at_aol.com
