That was me - I tried both Xon/Xoff and Hardware flow control and found
that the port went back to Xon/Xoff automatically. You also need to use
the advanced setting and turn for send and recieve buffers all the way
down. This allowed me to make 57.6 connections for BU and Sync from my
2100.

And just a day or so ago, someone mentioned turning flow control on for
the
serial port helped. I don't think they indicated hardware vs software
flow
control, but software flow control is usually off, so that's what I'd
try
turning on, first.
