Good point. Now, is anyone trying to pick up with the driver where he
left off? Making a new one for a different card? The current state of
the driver is NOT worth running out and getting a silver Lucent card.
Once there is a workable TCP/IP tie-in and transfers work no matter the
size, then we can start clearing shelves.

well that is an appropriate question i think - why does everyone speak
abou=3D
t
"airport" when its WLAN that is interesting?

i think that we have concluded many times already that the japanese
driver
w=3DF6rks with macs running under 9/AP1.2, what is not working is a =
TCP/IP
connection over DHCP via 802.11b!

we dont want to stay "mac only", do we?

the current driver is good as a toy for show-off purposes, since it
happens
very rarely that one just wants to install a small package without
backing
up first. as the connection (and both computers) freezes on "massive"
data
transfer, i guess the driver is of limited use ATM.

just my 2EUR ;-D
